<3♥!'Sunday, November 22, 2009 Os has been over for awhile and surprisingly, life did not get as boring as I thought it would be. How lovely:) So last Monday I went to J8 to catch a movie with my sis. We watched My Girlfriend Is An Agent, which I would highly recommend just because its so funny. Then we went shopping for my prom dress, which is the first time I have ever shopped for a dress. Last week Mel found a job ad for Robinsons in the paper and asked if we should go for an interview. So we went for the interview on Wednesday at the Raffles City branch. Was a bit freaked out at first, afterall its my first interview for jobs. In the end it did not turn out too badly. We went in five at a time so nothing to be nervous about. Unless you are the first one. Who was infact, me. So among the five people, I went first and was a little nervous. Mel came after me. After us was three JC graduating students. The lady who interviewed us told us we would be informed by Friday. I would have thought I have no chance of getting the job if........the interviewer had not called Mel that both of us are accepted and have to go for a briefing! Yayyyy. I know the job would not be easy but if I only depend on the uniform sales job, I would be eating grass. Me and sis are two unfortunate kids in the world with no allowance during the hols. Two days later was Prom Night. Went to SR's house so that she can help me with the make-up since my make-up skills are as good as my Biology. Have to say a big thanks to her for slapping on my desired amount of powder. We went off in black(me) and white(SR). My dad came to drive us and I was careful enough to remind ourselves to quickly put on our cardigans, because my dad has issues about how much skin a girl should show. That would mean as little as possible. We reached early, like some others. It was actually pretty awkward to see everyone all dressed up, dunno why. We went to the balcony to take some pics to kill time before we enter the ballroom. It was pretty grand - for the fact that there were balloons and roses on each table. I feel to lazy to go into details, so there came our classmates in eye-widening amount of eyeshadows, eating, drinking, taking pickies, lucky draws, extremely loud techno music.... Went for my uncle's wedding dinner last night. Food was scrumptious and all was good. Not going to mention the names of the dishes so I shall end my post here. Photos should be coming in soon...if I am not to lazy. And no, O levels have not yet escape my mind, so I will keep my fingers cross until results day. Hope everyone would get good results... that's about it. Bye bye. <3♥!'Friday, November 13, 2009 O levels are overrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Finally. The obstacle of the year. It has made my blog as dead as anything. Another thing is also because I feel really lazy to blog. Sometimes I wonder if I should quit blogging, but then I would not have a decent place to vent my teenage angst if that term is appropriately used here. Why am I using this lousy desktop? Because our precious laptop is destroyed by the Queen. To say the truth, the computer holds no wonder for me anymore. I didn't have any when I was a child, and yet I can still find stuff to do. But now, going online seem like the only thing that can keep me occupied. I have 2 months of freedom. What should I do? The first day after The Big Obstacle ended, me and the girls went Plaza Singapura to shop. Its just like walking and walking. Then eating. I did not manage to eat majority of my pasta due to post-sick symptoms. It made me feel hungry in the middle of sleep. Then after lunch SR and Mel went with me again to Cotton On to get a pair of flats for the prom. Its pretty cute - red with a bow on top. Afters we took a train to Orchard to shop Ion. Pretty cool but not much at the same time, probably because the shops there are not really suitable for us. I complained that my leg is killing me and so we went to Starbucks for some coffee and relaxation for the legs. Alright, I shall end here. Many things happened this period of time but it all happen so fast for me to remember or pen down. Perhaps I am really not up for this blogger thing anymore. I'll see. <3♥!'Sunday, July 5, 2009 This is the most anticipated event of my 2009: PARAMORE It's official! Paramore's new album brand new eyes will be released on September 29th. The bride and groom looks great, but I was too engrossed to whip out my camera. Damn. Did not manage to capture the highlight of the wedding. :(
<3♥!'Monday, June 1, 2009 Went to Vivo with the girls yesterday and had Shopping sore today morning. Guess it was worth it since we had some fun yesterday. We met at Deli France at eleven because Choon was having her breakfast with her family. I realised at that time the cookies they sell at Deli france is sooo much smaller than those at Subway. The big monster one. Anyway, Choon's sister finished that tiny cookie for her and Choon gulped down her hot cocoa with in like, 3 seconds. Then we took the long train ride to Harbour Front. As usual I'm the only one who got stuck trying to get out of the MRT station. Again. Its not my ez-link card, its the machine this time. We got into Candy Empire first. That place is like every kid's dream come true.Lol. The chili chocolate is still there when we went. Most people rather stick to original flavours. Anyway, you should know all the stuff they have there without me mentioning. Went to shop around next. We went into National Geographic which is damn cool. They exhibited and sold things that I'm lazy to describe so check out the pictures. More shopping afterwards. Choon found some pants that she liked at Fox. During our lunch at Subway, she called her 'rents to get them to transfer money into her Nets so that she can get them. Initailly she was unsuccessful cos her 'rents are not happy that their car sort of broke down at Toa Payoh, but in the end she managed to persuade them. Right after lunch we went in Pet Safari to see the cutey pups. I never realised how cute dogs that are 3-month-old are. So adorable. So unlike humans. We cooed at the pups and then at the hamsters fighting to run the wheel, then we went to see which pathetic pups are getting their fur cut. They didn't seem to love haircuts. We went into a cute art shop and Szerui spotted some body tattoos and Melissa spotted an Angel clay set which they bought later on. Then we spent most of our time at Daiso which is unsurprisingly crowded, not only which humans but also all the stuff they sell there. That place sells almost everything an average person needs. I love that supermarket. Afterwards we went waddling at the Skypark. Unfortunately the water was warm. Like the weather. So we were siting side by side with our feet in the water calmly, when a toddler come splashing water at Melissa. Haha. We took a couple of photos then SR and Melissa bought the stuff that they wanted while Choon got on a phone call with her sister which almost made her pull out her hair. Apparently the car was fixed and now the family was at Vivo. We went back with Choon to Fox to get her pants and then she went to find her 'rents and I went back home with Mel and SR. That's about it. <3♥!'Saturday, May 30, 2009 Celebrated Ms Kong's birthday this Thursday. By now, I still can't stop thinking about how funny her reaction was when Sixian just off the lights of the art room. And then Ms Chia and Mdm Ngoh brought out the cake, with a candle glittering in the dark room and we all started singing the birthday song to Ms Kong, whose confused look changed into a relieved and happy one, and gushing," How'd you guys know..." Before blowing out the candle, she made a mini speech about being touched and everything and how she hopes all of us will be successful in the art scene in the future. Then, she blew out the candles and we all clapped, laughing and cheering. Everyone was present, except for Donavan who only arrived after the birthday song. F.Y.I, if no one happens to have any paper plates during a party, another solution would be to put on plastic gloves and pick up slices of chocolate cakes using them. That's what we did, which was not so tidy coz I ended up with chocolate smeared around the lower part of my face. Ms Kong took a couple of hilarious pictures while eating her slice and also after she blew out the candles. Mdm did the cutting up of the cake. That always seem like the toughest job to me coz fractions and divisions were involved to split the cake. Anyway, we got Ms Kong to open her presents. Edgar and Syazanna bought her a pair of expensive -looking earrings which we all split the cost. Glad that she liked it. Naturally, Donavan went M.I.A again while she opened her present then she went,"Where is that Donavan boy? He's like my missing ship." Haha. Got back the report book yesterday, naturally. Not well-done as usual. Since when is it ever? The same old C6 for bio and maths and E8 for Chem. My comments was least expected with out-of-the-world stuff like "Kimberly has a cheerful disposition" or "She completes assigned tasks promptly" and "She has shown a strong willpower to succeed." My foot. If I'm that angelic, Mr Ong should go for elections for the next American president. Speaking of him, that old man is starting to get on my nerves. I didn't hear a bit of his stupid closing speech coz I was engrossed in the book I had brought along to the school hall in case I get bored - and I did. Melissa said if she does not know that Old Ong is a principal of our school, she might have mistaken him to be reuben's father since they both sound like ducks. Couldn't agree more haha. Going out with the girls tomorrow. (: Yay! It's been so long since we have some actual girl time. Hope to have some fun and chill a little since we studied so hard for this exam. Will update. <3♥!'Wednesday, May 27, 2009 Decided to get rid of that panda. Its getting on my nerves. |
